On an Ancient Night -Luke Smith

On an ancient night,
Jesus came here as a fragile child,
The God who spoke and there was light,
Could not yet speak a word.

A chorus from angels on high,
The humble shepherds terrified,
Fear not because today our Christ,
Has come to save the world.

He is worthy of my all,
He is worthy of my all,
My heart, my mind, my soul,
He is worthy of my all.

He lived without all sin,
Spirit bound went to Jerusalem,
Knows very well what will become of Him,
And yet he counts it all as loss.

In the garden He sweats drops of blood,
Submitting to the will of God,
And so creator of iron and wood,
Is nailed to a cross.

He is worthy of my all,
He is worthy of my all,
My heart, my mind, my soul,
He is worthy of my all.

And when He returns,
On his side is written «Lord of Lords»
Out of his mouth comes the sharpest sword,
To judge those is sin.

And the only reason I’m not slain,
Is because in my very place,
That same Jesus went to the grave,
And he rose again.

He is worthy of my all,
He is worthy of my all,
My heart, my mind, my soul,
He is worthy of my all. X2

I’m prone to wonder Lord help me stand,
I no longer want a life of shame,
Bring in me your spirit again,
Like you did in Jesus day

This weak body that I still have,
Is made perfect by your blood stained cross,
Through my weakness father save the lost,
So we all together sing

He is worthy of my all
